Hunter Douglas
Hunter grew up in Antelope Valley, California where he started playing club volleyball at the age of 12 for Revolution. He continued his volleyball career playing for Santa Monica College, where he held the title of captain for two years before transferring to University of Southern California. He is currently working towards earning his bachelor's in Business Administration at USC. Hunter has been around the sport of volleyball and coaching all his life, attending many of the USC men’s volleyball matches while his father was the head coach for the program.

ashlyn dibrell
Ashlyn grew up in Arlington, TX going on to graduate in 2014 from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Ashlyn began coaching at CJV (Carolina Juniors Volleyball) while attending college in Charlotte, NC. She began with the non-travel programs, working with girls from 9-18 years old. After realizing her passion for coaching, she became the assistant coach for the 17-1’s travel teams. She has coached summer camps at Wintrop University, Country Day Middle School, Arlington Lamar High School, Shackelford Junior High to many more.

Ashlyn played as an outside hitter and defensive specialist at TAV (Texas Advantage Volleyball). She went on to play as an outside hitter at Queens University of Charlotte but found herself setting during her sophomore year. While at Queens, they were regular season champions 2012 in Conference Carolinas and appeared in 2013 NCAA Regional Championship.

sasha karelov
Sasha grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where she played club for Triangle Volleyball Club. She was recruited to play volleyball at Duke University, where she started as the team's libero for 3 seasons. Sasha graduated early from Duke University in December 2016 with a B.A. in Public Policy Studies, minor in Russian Language/Culture, and certificate in Markets and Management Studies. In January 2017, she moved to California to pursue her Master of Arts in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Sport Management at Long Beach State while competing on the varsity beach volleyball team. Sasha has been surrounded by volleyball and coaching her entire life. Her mom was a member of the Belarussian National Team (1984-1986) and has been a coach at Triangle Volleyball Club for 10 years.

Lauren graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a double degree in Psychology and Theatre Arts in 2013. She is originally from Monterey, CA. In addition to coaching at Actyve, she is a freelance writer and a spin instructor!

Lance has been playing volleyball since high school in Oahu at the Quiksets and Kuikahi volleyball clubs. He then played as an opposite and setter at Santa Monica college and continues to play in nationwide tournaments for NAGVA. Lance has coached at Culver Volleyball, Santa Monica Men's Volleyball, and currently at Actyve Volleyball as Head Coach on the 15-Molten team.

charlie schmittdiel
Charlie has been playing the game of volleyball for 10 years now. Winning a CIF Championship at SAMO High School under former Olympian Liane Sato. Getting coached under her on varsity at a young age helped Charlie find his passion which is volleyball! Charlie being lucky enough not only to be coached by former medaling Olympian as well as UCLA Hall of Famer Denny Cline who was a big impact on Charlie's skills during his club volleyball season. Denny, one of the all time great who played and won many championships for UCLA having his number retired and his name carved into UCLA's legendary hall of fame! After graduating he was trained by another great player and great volleyball mind John Mayer. John mayer coached charlie at Santa Monica College, who is still a professional touring with the AVP and USA National Beach team. Charlie loves the sport and he was taught the game by legendary coaches and players who have given him the tools and inspiration to teach the game of volleyball.
